Daniel A. Ciampino, CPA
Shareholder
As Managing Director of Staff Ciampino & Company, P.C., Daniel A. Ciampino brings over twenty years of experience as a CPA to the Firm. He holds a B.B.A. degree in Accounting from Siena College, Loudonville, New York.
Dan's primary focus is to provide business consulting services including forecasts and projections, bank financing, budget and cash flow analysis, internal control analysis, and a myriad of tax-related services that include planning, preparation, compliance and representation before regulatory agencies throughout the region. His areas of expertise are applied to many industries including construction, hotels, restaurants, automotive, wholesale, retail and professional practices. He is knowledgeable and experienced in consulting services with respect to partnership and shareholder agreements and has firsthand experience in developing compensation formulas, benefits and policies, as well as reviewing and providing valued input in the drafting of buy-sell agreements and formulating mergers and acquisitions.
Many of Dan's clients are closely held business entities who rely on him for their long range and strategic business planning and tax services, as well as for their personal financial planning in order to minimize their tax liability and realize future growth potential. He provides a full spectrum of integrated financial management services personally tailored to meet each client's goals and objectives.
Throughout his career, Dan has gained valuable insight into the management and operations of many businesses and brings that knowledge and experience to every engagement.
In addition to his accounting, business consulting and tax practice responsibilities, his major concerns and responsibilities revolve around ensuring delivery of the highest quality product, exceeding client service expectations and upholding the firm's integrity and reputation in the business and social community.
Dan is a recognized business leader and highly respected member of the community. He has served on numerous Boards of Committees for charitable organizations over the years and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and DFK International. He is an active member of the Siena College Alumni Association.
Dan resides in Niskayuna, NY with his wife and two children.
Jami L. Olsen, CPA
Shareholder
Jami L. Olsen, CPA, joined Staff Ciampino & Company, P.C. in 1985. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. Her primary responsibilities within the firm focus on her strong technical capabilities. In addition to hands-on accounting and auditing for many of the firm's clients, she performs final technical reviews on all financial statements reported on by Staff Ciampino & Company, P.C. to ensure adherence to professional standards. This has lead to a wide range of exposure to accounting and reporting issues in many industries, including automotive, hospitality, professional services, transportation, retail and wholesale, construction, not-for profit organizations, HUD-assisted programs, and schools, including CFR reporting to the state education department. In addition, her technical background has lead to performing Quality Control Peer Reviews on other public accounting firms around the country. These Peer Reviews are mandated and administered by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Other client services include Controller/bookkeeper placement at client offices, accounting system set-up and monitoring for both manual and computerized systems, assisting new businesses with the varied administrative and regulatory filing requirements and obtaining bank financing. She also works closely with her clients to provide pre-emptive tax planning services to minimize their personal and corporate tax liabilities.
As one of the principal shareholders of Staff Ciampino & Company, P.C., Jami has first-hand experience in the issues and problems that all business owners face. Her day-to-day activities within the Firm include all aspects of human resources such as recruiting, training, compensation, benefits, supervision and scheduling; she also helps maintain the Firm's computer network and screens new software products to find efficiencies for both in-house operations and client operations.
Jami's professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, DFK International, (an international association of accounting firms), Accounting Research Association of the Financial Accounting Standards Board and Women Ties, an organization of NYS Women Entrepenuers.
Neil P. Goca, III, CPA
Shareholder
Neil P. Goca III, CPA joined Staff Ciampino & Company, P.C. in 1995 as the Tax Manager. Prior to that, Neil was the Tax Manager at the Ayco Company, a financial planning company for high wealth individuals. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree from Siena College in Loudonville, NY. He also holds an Enrolled Agents License. This is a license given by the Internal Revenue Service to those individuals who have experience in all areas of taxation. His primary responsibilities within the firm include preparation and review of all business and personal tax returns, tax planning and compliance, tax research, providing staff education on tax issues, and technology support for the firm.
Neil has performed several seminars in the Capital District Area regarding tax planning and strategies and has been featured in various journals and publications such as the Tax Advisor, Capital Region Builder, and Visions.
Neil's professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and DFK International (an international association of accounting firms).
Jeffrey M. Canastra, CPA
Shareholder
Jeffrey M. Canastra, CPA joined Staff Ciampino & Company, P.C. in 1988. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Siena College in Loudonville, New York.
His primary responsibility within the firm is managing SMC Benefits Administration Group, Inc., the Employee Benefits Division within the Company. This division specializes in the development and administration of retirement plans for small to mid-size companies. He also assists with the business consulting and accounting for the firm's clients.

Jeff resides in Colonie, New York with his wife and three children.
